Natalia is unapologetic about her use of garlic – and this amazing recipe for her garlicky shrimp is no different.
Ingredients:
- Wild Shrimp
- Thick Coarse Sea Salt – optional – watch video for explanation
- Six Cloves of Garlic
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (to taste – I am generous with the crushed red pepper as I love it hot!)
- Olive Oil
- Butter
- Parsley
- Lemon
The shrimp is sautéed with six cloves of garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, olive oil and a tablespoon of butter
After they’re done cooking about 10 minutes, turn off the heat and add lemon and another teaspoon of butter top with chopped parsley and serve with grilled baguette.
This recipe is one served often at the Neves household! I discovered this recipe on a trip to Mexico with family and friends and I have now adjusted it and perfected it to my taste buds! I call this dish “Natalia’s Garlicky Shrimp” but I also lovingly refer to it as “Maria’s Shrimp” as Maria and another woman in Mexico taught me how to make this delicious dish.
