Today is National Pumpkin Day and Natalia prepared a special recipe that is very traditional in her family, Spicy Roasted Pumpkin Seeds. Her parents used to make it every year during this season and they loved to pair that with Portuguese beers like Sagres or Super Buck.
1 Sugar pumpkin
1 tsp. Granulated garlic
1 tsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Pimenta Moida (Portuguese crushed red pepper)
1 ¾ tsp of salt
Remove seeds from pumpkin, place in a mixing bowl, and combine all ingredients.
Place in a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper.
Bake at 350 for about 35 mins until golden and crispy.
